From what I understand you have to hit the gas right as the number 2 has disappeared from the screen. But I've found that depending on the size of the car you might have to 'rev' the engine slightly before that for it to work.
"snaking" means combining drift boosts through the corners so you're almost always either boosting or drifting to build up to a boost. __________________
