They suck, keep the old one.

The new ones have no fan, so they overheat REALLY fast.. Not good for online gaming.

i used to have one of those slim ps2's... i liked it. but they are fragile, mine broke easily... of course my tv did fall on it... i guess any game console would break if a tv fell on it = /

My slim PS1 broke because of it being fragile.
