I may be wrong, but if you do go Air Force/Navy there is still a good chance you'll end up patrolling Iraq.

Kind of an idiotic thing to say. I am in the Navy, not in special warfare, and I am willing to bet I have spent as much if not more time on the ground in Iraq then the majority of Marines who have served for the same amount of time. I am not saying that the Army and marines are not the tip of the spear for ground war, because they are, and they are awesome at what they do.

How come whenever a military subject comes up some ass uses it as a tool to diss another branch of the service? If anyone thinks the Air Force or Navy is not in Iraq then you are sadly mistaken.

All of the US armed forces serve there purpose and deserve respect.
