Why didn't you mention the Army? The real backbone of the United States military.
If you choose the Marines you will be known as a 'marine'. If you choose the Army you will be known as a 'soldier'. If you choose the Navy you will be known as a 'sailor'.
The only thing I know of the Navy is that you are out at sea for long periods of time. Much respect for the Navy but.. just no.. do research on the Navy if you're that serious about the Navy, and being a 'sailor'.
The Marines are an honorable route to go, put it this way, fellow Marines are all brothers, they are hardcore with that type of thing. Its the most loyal part of the US Armed Forces. If you plan on enlisting in a combat role I'd go Marines, if not..Think about it more and do research like I said above. Marines rely heavily on comraderie.
The Army is different. The Army is a big team. You help your battle buddies and your battle buddies help you. It is like you are related but you're not. Each person next to you is your brother or your sister. Its a team. Its not so much about the ego like the Marine Corps. Its a big team, combat roles in the Army are just like the Marines, except like I said, less ego and more about a team. It IS THE ARMY.
The Army occupies and fights. The Marines attack and establish. We are all on the same team and you will work with all branches regardless. Marines and Army more than most.
PM me if you need any advice guy
