Besides eye contact will be about as far as most girls will go to show a stranger she likes him. Chances are if she stares at you, she is probably interested.

I hate this shit. I'm generally one of those people who can (and usually do) strike up a convo with anyone. I feel like with hot girls, if I strike up a convo, it looks like I'm just trying to hit on her.

I just smile and treat them like everyone else, except for the convo sometimes.

Simple. Stare into her eyes for about 3-4 seconds and then walk over to her and point to her lip and say, "You have a piece of food you missed." It will make her feel inferior and embarrassed as she wipes her mouth. Now you have the upper hand and can start up a conversation feeling confident.

Also depends on where this is happening.. on the street (where you may only get 1 shot), at a bar, at work (where you may see her again), etc. If i'm walking down the hall at work and a (good looking) girl is making eye contact with me, I'll hold it as long as she does, and usually say something (even a meaningless nicety) once we are close.

If you do look away, don't look down.

In the right moment, I can also see making a funny face at her (like, what are you staring at??), but only select moments..
