"Major Retailer" Confirms 360 Price-Cut

Xbox 360 Price Cut: "Major Retailer" Confirms 360 Price-Cut

The Hollywood Reporter are...reporting that, according to a "major retailer", Microsoft will indeed be slashing the price of its Premium 360 bundle next month by $50, from $349 to $299 (no specific mention of the Arcade of Elite). They also say the cut will come into effect before E3, which takes place in a couple of weeks. If anyone's wondering as to the reliability of this "major retailer", it's worth noting that the Hollywood Reporter nailed the timing and details of the last price cut, which took place in August 2007. It's a safe bet these are the same sources.

I bought a Premium bundle several months ago . . . it'd be very nice if they cut the price of the hard drive upgrade.

The hard drive needs to be 20 dollars. Mine broke and there is no way that I am paying 100 dollars for a 20gb clunky piece of crap.

yeah it doesnt make sense to pay so much for such a small Hard drive when you can pick up a 500gig computer hard drive at a fraction of the cost.

Is it possible to maybe connect an external hard drive to an xbox?

So the premium bundle doesn't come with a hard drive? I was thinking of getting the 360 just for Rainbow 6 Vegas.
