That's true, the only main characters who we're unsure if they've had any connection or experience with Australia is Desmond and Ben. As much as Ben gets around, it wouldn't surprise me if he has some connections there.

I'm sure he does, but not as directly as the others.

Possibly the temple, or maybe some random substation that hasn't even been discussed or shown yet. Something tells me it has to do with the teleporting though.

No, I found those pics on losteastereggs.blogspot.com. It's a cool website, but be wary of the forums and rumors sections, shit is full of spoilers. That's where I saw where and how Rouiseau was going to get killed earlier this season. That kinda pissed me off, but I've learned not to poke around too much there.

But I like that site better than the Lostpedia site, you can request screenshots and whatnot there. Pretty cool features there for sure.

The guy that plays Widmore is an Australian actor, so that's where the accent is coming from. He used to be in the Autralian soap opera, Neighbours.
