Why would the Black Rock slave ship be in the Pacific? Assuming it departed from Africa, it's hard to imagine why it sailed east and continued on past any possible eastern destination. The only explanation is that it was headed for the US, but why not just cross the Atlantic if that was the case?

That is a good question.
Has there been any clues to suggest that this was an African slave ship bound for the US?
It may have been a ship trading in the Aboriginies from Austrlaia.

I believe it's April 24th, so only 2 1/2 weeks to go.

I didn't know if anyone has seen this or not, but it's just about the whole cast along with the writer's being questioned by Jimmy Kimmel. I stumbled on it tonight and watched half of them and it's pretty good. I didn't post the videos because it's like 10 of them and I'm lazy, but here is the first.

I saw this on g4tv.com, sounds pretty good if it goes through.

From wondering where we were going to get out Lost fix during the writers strike, to the embarrassment of riches we currently have with 13 out of the projected 16 episodes actually getting to air this season, we're pretty lucky, us Lost fans. Well, now we're getting luckier. Carton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, the producers of the show, have requested an extra hour from ABC to wrap up the season the way they want.
This means that most of what they'd originally intended to do with this season can still happen, and we will suffer no ill effects from the strike. Fantastic news all around, wouldn't you say? Also, if ABC refuses, they should be shot into space, as an organization.

Thats cool. I'd heard something like that last month where they will go ahead with pretty much the entire plot they wanted to get out this season, but just crunch it down into a few less episodes than originally planned.
That should make all these upcoming episodes being pretty packed with awesomeness from beginning to end. Though this whole season 4 has been really good IMO.

yea i certainly like the idea of that. a criticism i have of lost is that some of the episodes of previous seasons have been filler e.g. nikki and paulo episode, okay she was hot but still a waste of an episode imo

That is true, a few episodes of the series have been pretty much filler. A bunch of us bashed the shit out of the filler Nikki and Paulo episode earlier in the thread. Like you said, she's hot, but still that was a waste of 42 minutes.

not implying at all
that is how it is!
Common thing for both shows is that I care(d) little for the whole CS thing, the crusoe/survivor thing is what is cool
