wow, that was an awesome read. If it is true, it pretty much sums up every single fucking question I had on all seasons. Whoever wrote that is either crazy intellident and should be a writer/author, or has an inside scoop with LOST. True or not, Either way, it was a great read. 10/10.

Reading all that nearly did make my head explode. One question though:

After the plane crashes, our heroes now exist in the year 1996 on the island, and they have taken on their physical attributes from the year 1996. Locke is healed because he hadn’t gotten into his accident until around 2002 – the same with Rose. Also, in the original timeline of the universe, Oceanic 815 did NOT crash. Therefore, if the losties ever got off the island and back into the year 2004, fate would deem that they survive at least until 2007 (which was how far the future had been written in Ben’s original timeline).

If 815 did not crash in the original timeline, how did some of the passengers and crew of the flight die in the island crash? Wouldn't everyone aboard survive?

I interpreted it as a physical means for the island to enforce fate, or more specifically, death. If you used the machine to preserve your own life that was meant to end, the smoke will ensure that your life ends.

None of that explains the 4 toed statue though....

That's a lot to digest. I'm not much of a science guy(although I find time-travel facinating) so it's hard to read all that without having some kind of base knowledge. But honestly, from what I interpreted it makes a lot of sense and answers a lot of questions.

This theory makes a lot of sense, it's very interesting.

So do you think there are 6 survivors or 6 people that escaped from the island ? Not surprisingly, they're the most annoying characters ( Jack, Kate, Hugo... )

I've always figured that a sense of immediacy, lack of space on the helicopter and sudden change in the ability to re-access the island is what leads to only 6 getting off the island. The only one outside of the conclusion is Ben, who obviously has his own means of coming to-and-fro at his hearts' desire.
