Did anyone notice the cut on Ben's shoulder while he was trying to move the island, also the jacket he was wearing?

He was wearing a similar jacket in a flash forward scene where he ended up in the Sahara Desert. Also he had a shoulder injury.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it yet, i'm pretty late to the tread.

Yeah. there was a lot od speculation related to the flash forward and why he was wearing the coat and how he got hurt.

no, whoever turns the wheel gets teleported to the desert. presumably that's how the dharma polar bear skeleton that charlotte found in the desert got there as well.

Ben was on the island when he turned the wheel thing. Then the island teleported. He woke up in the Sahara Desert (in a previous episodes flash forward) with the same jacket and shoulder injury he received (before turning the wheel)

ok, but why would the island go with him. he stated before that whoever moves the island can never return.

I think there is some significance to the fact that both Ben and the polar bears' travels through time space ends with them in northern Africa. I think the Black Rock will tie in with this. It may answer my question of how a slave ship could end up on an island in the Pacific.
