I think we will start getting answers alot quicker now that everyone knows there are 47 episodes left.
Before this season, the network would not let the producers move forward too quickly which us why we ended up with alot of filler episodes like the whole storyarc with the guy and girl con team that turned on one another and both ended up buried alive. That was three or four episodes wasted, as was the whole arc where Charlie and Claire fell out. __________________
Canada, the country that could have gotten British culture, French cooking, and American technology, but screwed it up and ended up with French technology, British cooking, and American culture.

Watch out for spoilers though. I was on the Lost board at IMDB and I some of the people are posting things that we don't know yet.

Stickied thread. I haven't been paying attention to this thread, but I did watch last night's episode.
My theory is that all this season they will explain how/who got off. Then next season the 5 (excluding the person whose funeral Jack went to) will go back.
I think the 'rescuers' are Dharma.
Locke dies this season.
Hurley isn't crazy.
Ben dies and becomes a hero by the end of this season.
