It would make sense that the C4 belongs to the mercs; it's an insurance policy: kill me, and we all go up.

Btw, was there a preview of the finale? Again, had to catch this online.

This episode also showed, conclusively, that the Oceanic 6 have lied to the public beyond compare. This puts the whole idea of many of the other survivors being dead into question. Methinks they will be trapped ona moved island.

SPeaking of: My friend thinks that the Island has moved at least two times. The first when Desmond moved the key. The second when the sky turned purple. An inter esting theory, somewhat backed up.

I also found it hella amusing that you guys were wondering when Claire and Jack would find out about eachother and tonight we did.

Let's see...any other reveals we're missing? Oh yeah. Hurley is plagued by the numbers still.

I wonder if any math wizzes have calculated the chance of winning the lottery and then finding the same combination randomly in a car and as a computer password?
1 in 1.03144248e28

done as each entry is a number... not seperate digits.... that would be 1 in 1 in 1 in 1.0e100

Did anyone notice the music was new and different for portions of this episode?

I don't know if that has any merit, it just came to me as a possibility.
That's what I think, that was a fuck-ton of C4 in there, and the way it was wired up I'm sure Keamy and the mercs placed and rigged it. That could definitely be how Jin, Michael, Desmond and the few other survivors die. Maybe somehow when Daniel comes back with the next load of people, Sun and Aaron get back onto the boat, probably by Jin's orders, and they make it back safely to the island and everyone else goes up in a boom. Just a theory.

I was wondering if Richard is bring the group to either the Temple or possibly the Orchid. All the Others are strapped with guns, and with the numbers game, they could easily surround and take out Keamy and the mercs. I wonder who Ben was communicating with via the mirror on their way to the Orchid.

It was nuts how the Oceanic 6 just lied to the public about everything. Seems like Jack came out with an overall story and convinced everyone to go along with it.

I think the island has definitely been moved before, I just don't know if the two times you mentioned. Reason being Ben said it was hard and dangerous to move the island and was only plausable if it's the last resort option.

It was funny that we were talking about when Jack would find out hes related to Claire and Aaron a few days ago, and the reveal was last night. I thought for a second he was going to come clean to Claires mom and tell her he knew Claire from the flight.

And the numbers still haunting Hurley, that was nuts! Obviously that's one of the reasons he's back in the nut house in all the flash-forwards, he just can't handle that shit following and haunting him.

Yeah, the preview looked great! Shows the Oceanic 6 on a helicopter, heading who knows where, and the pilot saying "We're too low on gas, we can't go back anymore."

Also showed Jack meeting/confronting Locke at the Orchid, and Locke exploring the inside of the Orchid.

I know there was a little more in the preview, I just can't remember it all at the moment.

Out of curiosity, how much fucking money did Sun get from Oceanic? She bought a controlling stake in what appears to be a multi-billion dollar corporation with just the settlement money from an airplane crash? I'm sorry, but there is no way she got a 9 figure settlement. That shit just doesn't make sense....

I can't see their settlement being something too astronomically huge, but I'm sure Oceanic paid them all quite well for the inconvience and to keep their mouths shut about certain shit.

But their sum was probably pretty nice. From the flash-forwards, looks like Jack now has his own practice and that doesn't come too cheap. And Kate had nothing before, but now was in a nice decked out house. And Sayid obviously has the money to travel anywhere and dress up in some pimp ass suits, it showed him at that rich fancy golf course a few episodes back.

Yeah, the settlement seems outrageous -- but hers WAS an extraordinary hush-up.
