There's speculation that the plane they found was a fake. Dumbass Whoopi Goldberg let that cat out of the bag on The View earlier this week. But the speculation about the fake plane was already circulating on the internets long before she said it. So no real harm done I guess.

Last season when Namoi said that they had found the plane at the bottom of the ocean with no survivors, I had a feeling that it was just a cover-up by Oceanic. No one wants to hear that you lost a plane and have no idea where it or the people on it are. But if you just sink a plane, take the pictures, and say it's flight 815, that puts the families and media at rest. Makes sense.
