remember the episode where ben wakes up in the sahara desert, with a possible gunshot wound, and he seems to not know where he is? doesnt that look like the same powers desmond has?
so assuming that ben has the same powers he needs to have a constant, like penny for desmond...and i think ben's constant is widmore. thats why ben tells him he can't kill him
"i can't kill you, you know that"
anyway, i think this is possibly the only theory about lost that i came up with that might be right haha.
i decided to just go with the flow of the show and stop asking myself so many questions

My interpretation of Ben waking up in the sahara desert was that he had left the island the same time the Oceanic 6 were rescued, but via a different route, so he had no idea how long it had taken him to get there or where exactly he was.

Ok...the choices given to Locke was:
compass
sand
knife
Book of Laws
and what else? I must have missed whatever you guys think was the smoke monster or hatch unless you are talking about the picture he drew, which had nothing to do with the test.

My guess would be that Sayid assumed she was dead.
|
I recall this from Sayids flashbacks.
He was approached by the FBI or CIA or whatever to infiltrate his former buddies terrorist cell in Australia.
In order to make him join they said they knew the location of Nadia and would arrest her and charge her unless he cooperated.
After he did and his buddy committed suicide they gave him the location of Nadia in the US and put him on a plane back to the states Oceanic flight 815.
We all know what happens from there, so Sayid knew she was alive.

some of Locke's drawing's were on the wall and one of them was a stick figure next to what looked like a black cloud.

I saw that, but thought the earlier posts were talking about it being a choice during his test.

I think there were only 2 other choices and they were a comic book and a baseball glove

I thought the picture Locke drew as a child was the smoke monster too. Although I could see how someone could think it was something else.
Also can someone help me out with the episodes that are left. Is it just the 2-hour finale left or is it another ep. then the finale, and when does it air?
