Some interesting things that i haven't seen mentioned yet here...

This weeks episode, along with the episode titled 'The Constant' were the only episodes that don't have the Lost title screen... I'm not sure what this means but it has to have some type of significance because everything in lost does...

Secondly, how does Locke keep his last name even after he is adopted? Does he figure out his past sometime before meeting his "father"...

At the end of the episode Ben asks Locke if "he told you what to do"... he referring to Jacob and not to Christian... might be meaningless but as previously stated, nothing in lost is meaningless....

Also, when young ben is being asked what items belong to him it shows a drawing on his wall... I initially thought that it was Smokey, but my buddy thought it might be the hatch exploding...

Locke's father's last name was Cooper. I'd question whether he really was Locke's father and not just pulling a con, except for the fact that Richard had a file on him.

Yeah, i think it was a con... my point was more that, he was seemingly adopted but kept his mother's name... also in the opening scene Locke's grandmother says something to the effect of "You're not going out with him again, he's twice your age..." so its either some dude that is hella old now, or a non aging zombie which seems to exist in the Lost universe...

I think Locke was only a foster kid so he wasn't actually adopted and never changed his last name.

Who would of thought that little runt we first saw in season 2 (i think) would turn out to be such a badass!

Oh man I'm so glad I found this thread. I didn't get into Lost until March, then I shhhhh (downloaded) the first 4 seasons and watched them in 3 weeks.

Now I'm all caught up.

Why would you download them when you can watch them on the ABC website for free? That's what I did. I just got into the show this year too.

Where you getting the broadcast?

Here in NYC the Title Screen was shown.
