what a cold blooded game of chicken that was with Ben and the Mercenary. Absolutely brutal, but I was not upset to see Alex go since that would leave X The Dude X and markulous with only each other for company on the island!!!

True, Ben didn't deny anything about the smoke monster. He has some form of control over it. Which makes me wonder if Ben controlled it and had it kill Mr. Eko. Still pisses me off that he's dead, that character was pretty cool.

Mercenary guy was hardcore, I didn't think he'd really pull the trigger like that, I thought he'd keep Alex around for future negotiations. And I thought you said pages back that since Kate was a bit of a hoe that you'd leave her on the island for the ole Duder. It'd be very unfair to just leave me on the island with a bunch of guys. Fuck it, I'll trek into the jungle and find the Others and just bang out the hottest chick they have.

No someone else argued she was a slut. I defended her honor and called her a cock tease. She is still with me off the island though.

I guess you guys seem to be right, pointing out that the fence was already shut off. Unless there's more than one fence or a certain way to block of certain areas with it. Either way, the biggest question I want answered is: what the !@#$ is that thing.

And I agree, I am really wondering what all the special properties of the island are, where it exactly is, and how Widmore and/or Dharma even came about finding it in the first place.

NAMASTE spelled backwards is ETSAMAN which sounds a lot like "it's a man" when you say it aloud. This could be a clue that the smoke monster is a man.
