Yeah, I could probably get used to early football, but the tape delay on mma and sitcoms and the such, that blows.
On a sidenote, where in O.C. are you and how do you like it? When this lease runs out I'm headed for Cali, not sure where, and suggestions would be great. I was originally headed towards the LA area, but was offered a "can't pass" job here in Vegas, and...well I should have listened to my gut and passed. Oh well, 7 more months to go.

I live in Laguna Hills. Anywhere down in South Orange County is really nice but pricey. Mission Viejo, which is right next to Laguna Hills, actually has the lowest crime rate in the whole USA. I'm within 15 minutes of the beach and it's just a real nice area. If you have a job in the LA area, depending on how much you get paid, I'd recommend living in South County for the quality of life. Just about anywhere in LA County sucks to live unless your paying a rediculous amount of money(i.e. Beverly Hills, Malibu, Hollywood Hills, Bel Air, etc.).
But I'm actually moving back to where I used to live which is up near Stockton. The weather isn't as great but my friends are up there and I miss living in the country. Theres too many people and not enough vegetation to my liking here.

I was thinking Orange County would be the way to go rather than living in LA County. I have a friend that lives in Lake Forest, I think that's right near where you are. One of my other friends there lives in the Hollywood area, and pays out the ass. I just can't see paying that much to live in that area. Another friend lives near Van Nuys and Encino up in the valley, but I honestly don't know that much about the area up there.
I'd love to be near the ocean, I'm all about some surfing. I lived in Costa Rica years back and try and make it down there about once a year to relax, see old friends, and get in some surfing. And I've heard both positive and negative things about the Long Beach and Huntington Beach areas, what's your opinion on them?

There are nice areas in both Huntington and Long Beach. But there are some not so good areas too. However Newport and Laguna Beach have no bad areas whatsoever. If you want to be within walking distance you obviously will pay a lot more. So you just have to ask yourself if it's worth it or not.
Sweeeet Lost is on in one more day.

But Lost is awesome. I'm happy it's 2 hours.

Where in Vegas did you live, and how did you like it? And the same question again, but substitute Vegas for Cali. Still trying to figure out where to go in Cali when I leave here in the summer.
And just one more day until the season debut
Though I was under the impression that the premiere was 2 hours long, but it looks like the first hour(8-9) is called "Past, Present, and Future" and it's just a inside to the show and characters. The Premiere is the second hour, from 9:00-10:02.

I'd like the show more if it didn't wait a year and a half to answer questions. Seasons should be insular and set up new premises, waiting for answers from season 1 to be answered in season 3 is just taking the piss.

Yeah, that's my only complaint with the show. Like showing that leg statue on the beach and never explaining shit about it. Or what's up with the monster. Or what's really up with Dharma. And though that shit does bug me, there are way too many positives about the show for me to fret about it that much. It'll be explained in time...I'm hoping.
