Logitech MX Revolution

Ok, so my mouse was acting up recently so i decided I was going to buy a new mouse. I always buy mice with at least 4 or 5 buttons so it narrowed my search down pretty good when I went looking for a new one. Anyways I caught a glimpse of this mouse and it looked pretty slick.

In case you are wondering what it looks like:

So I ended up picking it up because I liked the feel and it just fit my hand perfectly. Anyways greatest mouse I have ever owned. The scroll wheel can go at regular scrolling speed or you can click the button and it goes at "hyper speed". When the button is pressed you can go from cell 1 to cell 30,000 in Excel in one swipe of the finger. This is great for people like me who tend to use programs like excel for almost everything. its also got a scroll wheel where your thumb rests and this can be programmed to do many different things, I currently have mine control my winamp.

If anyone is looking for a new mouse, I highly recommend this product to you. It is rather pricey for a mouse at $100+ but I spend a fuckload of time on the PC so its worth it for me.

the one on the side can be programmed for anything. the preprogrammed list includes:

Document flip (pretty much like Alt Tab)
Zoom (self explanitory)
Volume(self explanitory)
Media (change songs)
Thumb Scroll (regular scroll)
Multiple Key Strokes (this is what i just switched to. when i move my thumb up it copies selected text, and when i move it down it pastes it)

All buttons can be programmed to whatever you like though. and they work in all programs.

Thanks for the find on Amazon, I might just buy that one and return this once it comes in.

I'm still using my old razor Diamondback 3G mouse. I have no complaints about it because it does everything I want at a very smooth (and adjustable) pace.

The only gripe I can think of is that it's not wireless.
