Juvenile Delinquents....
My sister is one. lol. No, but really she has missed alot of school because of suspensions. She got kicked out of public school & sent to a school for "bad kids" basically. then she started gettin suspended from there. She was also getting threats from some other students. She has missed so much school and now she's doin this project 12 thing where she gets to do school work at home. sorry but as someone who went to class & passed the hard way I think she's gettin off way too easy. I feel like she should be held back or put in a school & forced to do work! She has a bunch of packets & all she has to do is do them & turn them in. boom! she passes 11th grade. I think she's gettin off too easy. What do u guys think?

What the hell does it matter to you? You should be wanting to help her, not degrading her, even if she is a listless reprobate.
My brother was "home" schooled. By that I mean he dropped out and didn't do shit but technically was "home schooled." I'll admit, at one point I thought the same as you. Then I realized, there are different paths and not one fits all people.
So, don't let it bother you. Don't waste your time thinking about it. Don't feel like a victim. Just move along.

she obviously has some issues. why not try and help her out instead of feeling sorry for yourself because you have to "go" to school.

I hate the juvenile delinquents that are destructive and vandalize shit because they have no respect for anything. Like the ones that slash the tires of 20 vehicles or shoot out rear windows of the cars. I'd like to beat the shit out of those little fuckers.

I remember the good ol' days when kids were held back; you know, punished for their actions. I agree with you, but the problem is the system as is and we can't do much about it.

There are a lot of problems with our education system. Kids slip through the cracks all the time. Your best bet as her brother is to be there for her and try and help her through whatever she may be going through.

I went to a school like that for a couple years. I saw some of the other kids do the packets things at home as well. Thing was, those kids didn't learn shit. It's almost like being back in elementary school. Instead of taking that route I did those packets for extra credit in addition to the regular continuation school so I could get the fuck out of there asap. Even so, it's still took 2 years to make up the credit I lost when I fucked things up my freshman year. But anyway, your sister is getting it easy with the packets. It's going to be a much bigger problem when she graduates and doesn't have any learned skills to work nor the knowledge, learned in HS, to do well in college. Unless she gets her ass in gear she's fucked. You need to help your parents understand this so they can do something before it's too late. I pulled myself up, unfortunately my little brother didn't and nothing I did to help him out worked. Maybe I didn't do enough. I tried persuading my dad to be more strict but he just let my brother coast. Now he's 26 and life is extremely rough for him. I won't go into detail but like I said, get your sister in school and make sure she keeps going. Do whatever it takes.
