Instead of being escorted out of the arena by security, he would walk to the octagon, hug his girlfriend, and Anderson Silva would present him with his MW belt. Then, Lyoto Machida would enter the octagon and present Taylor with his black belt.
It was almost comical how horrible the ending was.

Security didn't ignore they got beaten up... this isn't UFC tight security, its like cage rage security... Plus JT is the worst comparison to the main character.
It would be more like Rickson Gracie on his comeback fight beating up all security then fuckingup Fedor who is about to fight anderson silva then anderson gives him his MW title and then Ricksons dad gives rickson his belt.
The movie almost made sense except the lawyer bitch shouldn't be in it and the conspiring should make sense, like why does that girl get duped into asking for a loan to give money to her relatives in Brazil, she pretty much handed money to her relatives and screwed over the loanshark but she is supposed to look like the victim? Also who cares if the marbles are fixed... its not like random chance makes for fair matchups... and how is that even stealing an idea... might as well copyright flipping a coin or an octagon.

I thought it was absolutely ridiculous. It tried to be all meaningful and 'deep' but it sucked so much ass! I really didn't like Never Back Down but this film fuckin sucked! What was with that fight at the end and the old man with no dialogue or sound it was fuckin poor!

WARNING - SPOILERS
so...just downloaded a torrent of this. watched it.
don't really know what to say. was lost almost the whole movie. my end reaction would best be described as "WTF?". what a wierd movie. the plot lines we're just ridiculous. i don't understand why tim allen's wife would fuck her over on the fabric deal. the cop committing suicide was kinda extreme, but a powerful scene nonetheless. i dunno, the plot was just way to out there. the whole way they put together the blackmail scheme and everything, i dunno, why couldn't they have just made the story a little more straitforward and downplayed the ridiculous spectacle of an mma promotion at the end.

I thought it was terrible. Not as sensational as Never Back Down, but to me it failed just as much.

I thought it sucked, then got flamed for saying so when it came out. I think the diehards would accept anything to do with MMA in a movie as gold.
