I liked the movie, but the ending was to short I though also, but it depicted MMA to an audience with a great perspective.

I just watched the movie over the weekend. I get the criticism of the movie. It wasn't the most polished of scripts. I tend to believe that, in general, people like what they can identify with or relate to. Can they think back to a time when they dealt with the same emotions or circumstances.

It's not a movie about MMA. It's a movie about a guy that is trying to remain true to what he knows is right in the face of ever increasing pressure. MMA is just the vehicle to tell the story. It's about having to stick with what you know is right even though it doesn't look right to everyone on the outside. Even though you know it might make things easier in the short term. If you've ever had to make a choice where you know it's going to look like your doing it for the wrong reasons from the outside, but, know in your heart your doing it for the right reasons then you'll appreciate where the movie is coming from.

And it's got a quick cameo from Ed O'neil (Al Bundy) who has a black belt in BJJ under Rorian Gracie.

I downloaded the screener as well, it was better than never back down, and it was way better than Randy's other movie Scorpion King 2, which was complete garbage.

But the fact he got the red belt at the end for beating that guy when enson was going to do the same thing cuz of the worked fight is bs. Also that belt didn't look like gold to me

I just watched this movie... Wow, was it awful... Made no sense at all...

Do they even explain if his wife really did rat him out? I know the one guy says she does.. But they never even show him confronting her, or her explaining herself or anything... They just show her at the end all dressed up for the fights...

Makes no sense to me.. They don't even show his wife reconciling with the people who owed her for the fabric she bought...

Terrible, terrible movie that made no sense whatsoever..

It's on my NetFlix list...should be coming soon once it's released. Don't give a shit about the negative reviews....I need to see it.
