the game is a pretty good book,interesting it is but the guys in it seem like absolute losers and the whole concept of "dating help or the art of picking up" is pretty lame to me,i know many people seem to have a tough time with women but i just dont understand it all,datings easy and so is approching women,just dont forget the basics....

I dunno abot neil strauss but TD is what started me on PUA shit. You can read deangelo's stuff, but TD is more focused around cold-pickups- picking up chicks without any invite or previous contact with them. I feel its better to get started this way, as he will help you understand the basics of this and you will build your confidence. I would recommened reading deangelo's stuff at the same time, alot of his stuff is more Inner Game, focusing on your inhibitions and mental state. If you have really poor confidence, definitely read deangelo's stuff.

From an outsider point of view, being able to approach strangers is much better because that confidence you carry everywhere. Its much easier to apply those skills to people you know because you have something to go on whereas the reverse is not always true.
