I troubleshooted a lot on this and I can't get any help simply because I don't know my APPLE ID. So the Itunes support page isn't much help to me.

When I try and update my new NANO it says it cannot update because the playlists selected to update cannot be found. I've downloaded the latest Itunes and Ipod software. Uninstalled and Re-installed Itunes software and then troubleshooted some more, all to no avail. I was at the APPLE store earlier but the wait was like 1 1/2 hours. Can anyone help?

I had the same problem a while ago. What you do is plug in your ipod and then go into itunes and click edit>preferences>ipod, make sure that you have "Automatically update ALL songs and playlists" checked. That should do it.
