But I'm not having any fun playing the games. As a long time PC user, I'm a gimp using the analog sticks, and just can't seem to get into anything.

Currently, I have:

Mass Effect
Madden 08
NHL 08
Burnout Paradise and Revenge
DOA 4
PGR 4

While I have had the 360 for a couple years now, it has pretty much collected dust until I was given a projector as a gift.

Any other games you guys would recommend? I was thinking of picking up GTA 4, but am worried that my inability to use the controller will kill the experience.

God I wish I could plug in a keyboard and mouse into the USB ports.

Mine is currently collecting dust too, I havn't even completed GTA IV it got so boring and typical and I lost yet again to the infamous hype machine, that game fucking sucks, I mean, great graphics and game mechanics, but the storyline and missions just blow

Games I'd reccomend playing would be:

COD4 Online - Awesome FPS shooter and the graphics just kickass, very realistic and fun

NBA 2k8 - Well if your into basketball this is the game to get, great NBa experience and blows the rest of the NBA console games out the water

Ultimate Alliance - Fun on the go game with good storyline and cool cut scenes


And it sounds to me you should have gotten a PS3, on there I hear you can surf the web and use keyboards and mouses, man I so regret getting this fucking 360... at least the UFC game is coming out soon...

PGR 4 must be killer on that projector!! GTA works well with the Xbox controller but it is much better on the PC with mouse/keyboard. Cant you plug your computer into the projector?

I had a very similar set up at my old place...HD 1080 projector....
I used to paly halo three online..it was great at night..but you need a blackout room to see details during the day...most new projectors come with hdmi ports..i bought a gaming pc to run lotro on it...made for a theater like experience....

my suggestions...

I think I am going to take my chances and pick up GTA 4. While I'm not having much fun playing the games, I'm amazed at the image quality of the projector. I was expecting washed out colors, but in most instances, the projected image looks better than my regular LCD TV.
