I need Help with my upcoming Trial!

Okay this is gonna be a long and confusing thread but plz bare with me...

In April me and my girlfrined were just relaxing on a Friday night, watching intervention when i get a call on my moms cell (which i borrowed for the night). There were no mins on it, so if someone called i could only see the number to call them back on a different phone. So around 930, i get a call and see the number, i borrow one of my gf's roomates phone and call the number back... They answe O.P.P. ( which is ontario police) so i hang up real quick, thinking what the fuck? Im all worried about it wondering why they would call my moms cell, so i get my G/f to call them bck. She call asks them if they had called the cell, or were looking for me or my mom and they reply no. My girl was really suspicious and swore she heard laughing in the background.As the night went on we were like someone is fuking around with us. So i thought to call my ex g/f's cell number from the same phone i used to call the"OPP".. Sure enough someone answers OPP, and i was positive it was her voice.. So im pissed off and i wanna get drunk after i was sure it was her and her friends fuking around.. So I ge drunk me and my G/F, and we start calling her and her friends and they always answer OPP. So that was pissing me off even more , and i said a bunch of bad shit, like harassing shit, cuz i obviously thought it was them fuking around.. So this goes on til probably 5 in the morning, til we hear a knock on the door, sure enough it was the cops.. They arrsted me and i spent the weekend in jail. They are accusing me of making harassing calls to the OPP and mischeif and breach of Probation..
Now, they have on my deposition that the calls were made from my moms cell.... Which i never made one call from it as it was out of mins.And i used my gf's roomates phone the whole time, but they dont have any recrd of that number calling. And they say i made calls directly to them, when i never ONCE called the number they are accusing me of calling.. I dialed normal cell #'s and home #'s .
My conclusion is that it was my ex, she somehow new how to screen my calls and get them into the OP> cuz i never once called the opp

Does anyone know how this could happen?

Again, i never called the OPP or used the cell in question, but somehow my calls got to the OPP instead of ther #'s i was calling

Are you 100% that the number you called was not OPP?

Can your phone records prove this?

Regardless, I think that if you explained to the judge that you thought it was friends playing a prank on you then you will be let off lightly.

I agree, this is a nothing case. The law is different across jurisdictions, of course, but I can't imagine Ontario being more harsh than, say, Massachusetts (where I live). In Mass., you'd just get fined "court costs" (about $400), and your case would be dismissed.

Sounds like he is already on probation for a past offense from that post.

Yes, ive already provided the phone records, and theer still proceeding.. My lawyer says we have to prove how my calls got into the OPP. and i am 1000000% positive i never called the OPP.

Ya it was a very minor charge of not complying years ago.. and i would have been done my probation in December til all this bulshit happend.

What else does your lawyer say?

It sounds like your calls did go to the OPP. Otherwise, how did they get the recording or know to go to your door?

I think you're better off saying that you were mistaken: You thought you were calling someone else and playing a prank with some people you know. You're sorry. It will never happen again. Bad, stupid mistake.

Well ya that is what im doing, but im accused of calling there adn i didnt. I called my ex's mumber and some of her friends.. Do u know how they could have forwarded to the OPP?

I have told my lawyer to subpena them.. He's been useless since ive hired him!
