I KnowThis Is Not Political But....

There is a lot of intelligent people on this forum and I would really like to discuss this and see what the opinions are. Lately, the media has been all over the Anna Nicole case and I've been watching a lot of it. From everything that I've seen it seems fairly obvious to me that Howard K. Stern is involved, directly or indirectly, in the deaths of Anna Nicole and her son Daniel. What baffles me is why are these cases not treated as foul play ( especially Daniel, where it's allready cofirmed that ****done killed him; i.e. who gave it to him? ) and why is Stern not being investigated as a suspect. Is the Seminole Tribal Police the ones that are in charge of the Anna Nicole investigation and how competent are they? Is it possible that the primary Florida pathologist, that examined Anna Nicole, is incompetent or intentionally misleading? If I was Anna's mom, as I'm allready involved in the process, I would ask for an independent pathologist ( Baden, for instance ) and for the FBI to get involved in the investigation.

Not something I have been following at all, but from what I´ve heard Anna Nicole's son was a drug addict that was trying to get clean, he had methadone in his system and still took some pills - the drugs interacted and killed him.

Anna Nicole herself was well-known for mixing various types of pills with alcohol. I´m quite frankly surprised she didn´t die sooner. Every time you do that you roll the dice.

Why are you so convinced that foul play was involved?

It does reek of foul play but Anna could also have been strung out on a slew of pain killers and other shit like Trimspa pills which are essentially intense caffiene pills. That together could have given her a heart attack.

I don't know much about the details of her death at this point and I don't think they've released anything... maybe I'm missing something though?

D - I think that people see the possibility of foul play because of the nature of her and her son dying, and that coinciding with her giving birth to a child that we don't know the father of... somewhere along the line, someone stands to make an absolute boat load of money that she's worth from her money marraige.

This is how conspiracy theories are born.

From the wikipedia entry on conspiracy theories:
Quote:
[edit] Epistemic bias?

It is possible that certain basic human epistemic biases are projected onto the material under scrutiny. According to one study humans apply a 'rule of thumb' by which we expect a significant event to have a significant cause.[14] The study offered subjects four versions of events, in which a foreign president was (a) successfully assassinated, (b) wounded but survived, (c) survived with wounds but died of a heart attack at a later date, and (d) was unharmed. Subjects were significantly more likely to suspect conspiracy in the case of the 'major events'—in which the president died—than in the other cases, despite all other evidence available to them being equal.

Another epistemic 'rule of thumb' that can be misapplied to a mystery involving other humans is cui bono? (who stands to gain?). This sensitivity to the hidden motives of other people might be either an evolved or an encultured feature of human consciousness, but either way it appears to be universal. If the inquirer lacks access to the relevant facts of the case, or if there are structural interests rather than personal motives involved, this method of inquiry will tend to produce a falsely conspiratorial account of an impersonal event[citation needed]. The direct corollary of this epistemic bias in pre-scientific cultures is the tendency to imagine the world in terms of animism. Inanimate objects or substances of significance to humans are fetishised and supposed to harbor benign or malignant spirits.

Because this guy, Howard K. Stern, who happened to be Anna's lawyer and lover, totally controlled her life and the drugs and medication she got, because he is named executor of her estate ( possibly worth half a billion dollars ) and because he appears to be lying about being the father of her new born baby, who stands to inherit the whole enchilada.

Exactly, they deserve justice as much as anybody else, but there's just no need to talk about it on the TV 24 hours a day. I have faith that the facts in this case will come out, even if I don't pay attention to them.

That's fair enough - I'm not saying I believe it.... just pointing out that this stuff arises when there's so much money and two recent deaths like that.
