How can I find the value on a car made in 1967

I came across and ad for a 1967 Opel Kadett Rallye and it caught my eye. Supposedly it's in OK enough shape that restoring it shouldn't be too hard. However, I'm unfamiliar with this car so I don't know what a good price for it is. The guy wants $1500 for it. I checked online with Kelly Blue Book but their model info only goes back into the 80's.

Where can I find the value of this car?

Try this

It seems the model is either a Kadett OR a Rallye.

Not both,

Or Here

It seems to be worth at maximum 3 grand

Thats what I was about to say. Try looking around on ebay, craigslist, hemmings, etc and see what these cars are going for. Then take about 20% off that price and you're at around what one in decent condition is worth.

The current ones I've seen go back to the early 90's. Last time I checked the online one it went back to the 80's. I don't think they value cars further back than that because of how hard it is to determine what a car of that age is truly worth. It all depends on collector value and current demand. I remember not long ago when 60's Mustangs weren't worth much, but these days they want a mint for them.
