Hypothetical career question
If you could choose to either:
Go to college for two years and make $28/hour doing something that makes a difference in the world doing something you enjoy, but have to put up with working for the man...
Or...
Go to college for 7-8 years and make $80,000/year to do the same type of work as starting, and up to $125/hour as your own boss later on...
Which would you choose?

option 2 , college are the best times , then you get paid more ? it's win-win.
so are you talking about accounting or something.

What takes 8 years and only makes $80k? I would still take the 2nd. Investing a few years of your life is definitely worth it if it's going to be the difference of you making like $2 million in 40 years compared to $6 million.

The two years already invested plus five more: 2+5=7 plus a 1 year internship. I'm leaning towards the second, but it is hard work, and <5% even get accepted...fewer finish. |

No, its not medicine.
I don't want to give out details yet because I wanted it to be applicable to the reader. If you love roofing, then it is roofing. If you love doing taxs, then it is doing taxes. Hypothetically. |

Assuming that im happy in both jobs, id personally go for the 2nd.
Im probably biased though, as im planning on spending alot of time going to school, as i want to work in healthcare (this explains why i was so jumpy to ask if you were talking about medicine, haha).
