Hypothetical career question
If you could choose to either:
Go to college for two years and make $28/hour doing something that makes a difference in the world doing something you enjoy, but have to put up with working for the man...
Or...
Go to college for 7-8 years and make $80,000/year to do the same type of work as starting, and up to $125/hour as your own boss later on...
Which would you choose?

option 2 , college are the best times , then you get paid more ? it's win-win.
so are you talking about accounting or something.

What takes 8 years and only makes $80k? I would still take the 2nd. Investing a few years of your life is definitely worth it if it's going to be the difference of you making like $2 million in 40 years compared to $6 million.

The two years already invested plus five more: 2+5=7 plus a 1 year internship. I'm leaning towards the second, but it is hard work, and <5% even get accepted...fewer finish.

LOL
No, its not medicine.
I don't want to give out details yet because I wanted it to be applicable to the reader. If you love roofing, then it is roofing. If you love doing taxs, then it is doing taxes. Hypothetically.

Assuming that im happy in both jobs, id personally go for the 2nd.
Im probably biased though, as im planning on spending alot of time going to school, as i want to work in healthcare (this explains why i was so jumpy to ask if you were talking about medicine, haha).
