I shouldn't be alive is awesome, I like the one about the buddies going on a fishing trip, and their plane crashes into the ocean and one of them swims to safety. Ridiculous

The Brit guy from Man v Wild is kind of funny. I love how he finds a reason to get naked every episode. Sex sells, right?

There are two shows like that. Man vs. Wild and Survivorman. Survivorman is the one with the American if I recall correctly. However, I like Bear much better.

There is another survivor show that differs in that it tells different stories of people overcoming life threatening situations.

But the show you might be thinking of is Survivorman.
