I was lurking here long before I joined (!), but I haven't noticed the type of difference that would make me say "nothing has been quite the same/OH NOHZ!/bring back the good ole' days/TUF ruined it all!".
The board has always had its share of idiots and trolls, and nowadays it's basically the same...except there's just a few more cockroaches.
It's hard to keep your wits about you if you stay in HW's forum though. I'll say that much.
Most of the time I just scroll down to look for familiar avatars of good posters.
Yea I agree. I remember comming here in 2000 and creating an account in 2002. I remember the layout sherdog had back then and all the people who were there then and still are around now. I wish I could remember the details of my first account but I've had this one for almost 5 years now and I'm still a green belt.
