I used to be much much better in Japanese but i can still speak and understand 70% of it but my reading has gone down.

I can read Portuguese and understand it but my speaking is about 40%.

I have four languages I guess, but English is the only one I'm fluent in. Like just the other day I needed to speak Spanish, and I really had to think hard.

English (fluent; born and raised here in the U.S.)

Spanish (fluent; parents and family are from Mexico. Learned both languages while I was growing up)

French (conversational. Took two years of it in junior high and two years in high school, plus two semesters in college. I still have my textbooks).

I can understand Portuguese, but I'm having difficulty speaking it.

English
Gaelic
French

CONVERSATIONAL:
Spanish
Italian

BASIC:
Arabic
Japanese

And i'm not bullshitting. At school, i got taught French and Gaelic. I learned a bit of Italian and Spanish for my job as part of Animation crew at a holiday resort in Tunisia. When that finished, i spent two months learning Arabic in Tunis.

Now learning Japanese for the move out there.
