How do I get money from the negro college fund? Do I have to be black?

Maybe you should stop looking down on people.

I've come to the conclusion that if your parents own a house and you are under 25, you will not get any government assistance until you are over 25. even if you live on your own at 18, if you parents are not divorced, you are SOL until you turn 25.

My advice is to get a unionized job, that way they either pay for your schooling or offer tuition reimburstment.

And I advise against the Home Depot idea. I worked there 4 years during college. They always find some loophole or excuse not to pay the tuition reimburstment. Ever since Bob Nardelli took over HD in 2001, HD has been the drizzling shits.

I am going to quit bieng critical of you and lift a finget to help you. This guy's book helped a friend of mine purchase a commercial Lobster Fishing boat in Connecticut. I am sure his book has info on where to find money to further your education.

Best of luck

Another alternative is to join a military ROTC or officer comission program after the first semester of college. Your summers will including wading through mud but some services will offer $6,000/year while you are in school. Also, you will come out of school as an officer in the military and after 4 years you will be free to do whatever you like. The risk of getting your azz shot are lower if you join the airforce or navy.

Hey El, what do you think of the legislature passing laws that force landowners to sell their land in order to provide affordable housing for the poor?

this is the case in canada as well, they will pay for the vast majority of your schooling costs. my buddy has been in the army reserve since he was like 16, and they really treat their boys well when it comes to school. he's graduating in the fall and doesn't owe a dime, and really didn't struggle with money at any point either.

I know very little about this legislation so I will reserve my opinion until I become more informed. Do you have any links to the state site or to any articles that cover the issue. It sounds very inetersting.

I only know that many japanese and american landowners were upset after an eminent domain (?) decision by the hawaiian supreme court in the case of "Hilo" which broke up the "monopoly" of land ownership, allowing the native hawaiians obtain land. I'm sorry, it has been a while since I studied property and cannot remember the details.

But I was trying to catch you there and you were too clever. I thought that you would immediately shoot down the gov't taking private land and then I'd be able to call you a hypocrite after explaining it to you and seeing your position change

EDIT-Whoops. I called the case Hilo by mistake and I was wrong. I was thinking of Kelo, which is actually a different eminent domain case.
The actual case to which I was referring is Hawaii Housing Authority v. Midkiff
