I just got the Orange Box for my PC and I'm having problems with Portal which is ruining my otherwise great gaming experience! The game ran fine throughout the regular puzzle levels but when I got to the end (you know the parts with all the rusty machinery?) the game began fucking with me.

The textures and the colors of the game gets blurry and sort of overlap eachother on certain areas (walls, floors, etc). I tried changing some of my video settings but it didn't help. I think it actually got worse. I can't see shit like walls and floors And it makes it a lot harder to figure out where the hell I'm going in the game. Objects like the machinegun droids and my portal gun don't do this.

HL2 did similar stuff but it didn't bother my gameplay that much.

Could be a driver issue, or could be artifacts, if you overclock your GPU. Make sure your video card drivers are up to date, check game updates through Steam. Not sure what else to recommend.

Yep sounds like a graphics driver issue...update!
