The Varangian Guard, or an HBO series of Harald Hardrada's life. Read about him, he is EPIC. Best Viking who ever lived imo. I started writing a small screenplay with that as my idea. He is a legend.

Master and Commander was awesome, I love realism and wish they would make a film similar about John Paul Jones.

I did like Kingdom of Heaven , many people didn't but I did. There just isn't enough fan base for a good Historical Epic for people to film them because they can be hit or miss, and the miss could be costly.

I would definitely enjoy a well produced movie on the Incas. I really enjoyed watching Apocolypto and it wouldn't hurt for a movie producer to make a movie based on the Incas.
