is it possible to fill a hiring package and not get hired? Or not getting an interview? How long must people wait for an interview after applying and filling out a hiring package?

well yeah aplication asks for criminal check, check for money to go in, whmis test, ask for social insurance, all this stuff.

I haven't gotten the interview yet. Man hopefully its a week.

i wouldnt give out my social insurance # until i got the job? that doesnt sound good

lot of companies ask for it... usually bigger chains. but i havent heard of filling out forms besides application BEFORE interview... this coming from a guy who had about 3943 jobs and interviews 16-20s...

are you talking about signing company documents related to the job? Like a handbook or safety stuff? harassment stuff? non-disclosure stuff?

depending on the job, they could definitely ask you to consent to a background check before you're interviewed, but usually it works the other way around in my experience.
