Hey, i'm a student and I had to translate the following text from German into English... Perhaps somebody could correct it with regard to expressions and idiomatic... thanks a lot...


The prince and the swastika – how silly, how insensitive, how outrageous. Is it possible to just re-write the whole thing in English or does it need to be a direct translation? It is kind of a mess right now.

For a good translation, we really need to see the original too. I only know a few words in German, so I can't help you with that part. If this thread is still around tomorrow, I will edit your English side, but as a translator myself (Spanish-->English) I can tell you that doing so won't help you too much without me knowing the original. But it is too late now, so I will check back tomorrow and see what I can do.
