I am really excited to see this. I must say though, I defiantly did not think Ledger was a good pick for the joker. I could never picture him playing a crazy person (a Nicholson staple), but apparently he was excellent, so I can't wait to check it out.

From the few scenes I've seen, this revamped Joker is about as misanthropic as it gets. Some very very huge and relevant issues at work in this movie.

Why do you feel that way? Is it because you saw his gay role and it stuck with you in accordance of viewing him (you see him and automatically see Brokeback)? Because I've never seen Brokeback and think that he's quite good in this.

That, and also 10 Things I Hate About You. I don't know, I just always pictured him as the pretty boy actor, nothing he has done has screamed dark and brooding to me.
