that's pretty hot man. i bet hiroshima hasn't seen temperatures like that since 1945. are you sure your rash isn't from fallout?

I get the same reaction in hot weather. Sucks for gi jiu jitsu. Last year I broke out in a heat rash, which later led to me catching ring worm (through open wounds).

Hope it dosn't happen to me this year when I start bjj again. =/

I wont lie, I skipped reading the thread, so I don't know if this has been mentioned.

However, the first time I ever got heat rash, my mom advised corn starch, and it has worked like a beauty for me ever since. I got some recently in BJJ, and it's going right away. Just lightly rub on corn starch to the area. Apply it again when you feel you need it, and just keep it up.

I have no reason why, but it soooooooothes.

1. Keep It Clean
2. Powder it.
3. Sleep naked, w/ a fan on you, avoid sweating, etc.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Powder is doing well.

I work today they told me to go and swim in the sea for a while, that salt water can help it. I thought they were joking as I though salt water would drive it mad, but they are good folks and wouldn't do that. Gave it a go, it really is good for you, I had a couple of other patches starting to break out and it helped them, and while I was in the water I looked at the sore and it was about 40% smaller and not as red looking which I was in there. It returned to normal after about 5 minutes out of the water, but I think it did do it some good.

Still sore, kinda tight tonight too. Right on the elbow crack which constantly gets moved so its uncomfortable, hope it starts to go away soon, if no improvement in 2 or 3 more days Im gonna go to the doctor and get him to look at it. Its not getting worse, but if after a week its still not much better Im gonna get it looked at.
