ugh last week was a nightmare for me

i was getting some sun, to darken up, to prevent getting burned and what not,

when i got semi burned, not to bad

the next day however, my entire upper body was itchy

might sound humorous, but it was insane, i couldnt even sleep

its like 100 mosquito bites at the same time

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Wow, just imagining running in this heat with a rash gaurd on, thats suicide!! Judo is abd enough in the dojo with it on, feels like a sauna.

This makes perfect sense now, its why its only on that one particular side as I was holding my mp3 player in the other, the left one was held tight in that position for the entire thing, and I was soaked through by the end of it.

Its terrible, I hate it so much.

I read that sensitive skin often doesn't appear until the mid 20's, I NEVER used to get stuff like this!!

You see how running is bad for you. Now listen to me eat a big mac everyday and try to get at least 6 hrs of tv in after work.

Im actually annoyed, Ive been making tremendous progress with the running, 30 minutes of a decent pace of maybe 50-55%. then a final minute of sprinting to the finish, and only about 3 minutes for my heartrate to come all the way back to normal, now this will put the skids on it for a few days!!

Reading up about chafing online, they recommend tight fitting rashguards, lubricants and immediate cold showers afterwards with talcum powder afterwards. Hopefully this will help it, going to the chemist after word to get some of that gauze stuff they recommend as well as some disinfectant.

I may indulge your advice for a few days though, could do with some lazy time, been kiling myself to get into shape the last while.

Man this is uncomfortable. Its actual a severe and localised bout of heat rash which was brought on by the sustained running and sweat build up caused by the running in the heat I did. Looks nasty, very red and irritated, Im treating it like a war wound and clean it with cold water about 3 times a day, and tonnes of medicated talc, still bloody itchy and sore at the same time.
