My step dad got sick this morning and has been out of it all day. When he gets up he feels like vomiting but when he laying down he feels alright. What can I give him to help him out.

I'd give him a combination Gravol and Tylenol; Tylenol for fever and Gravol will put him out and help with nausea. If it doesn't get better, take him to the clinic.

Just let him sleep and give him a lot of ginger ale and soup.

honestly, some peppermint schnapps or a dirty martini will do him right. i have a bit o' the sniffles myself at this very moment and i'm feelin much better two martinis deep.
