Guitar Hero 4/World Tour Setlist Leaked?

G4 recently posted this article on their website...

G4 - The Feed - 'Guitar Hero World Tour' Setlist Leak?

Quote:
The internets are buzzing with news that the Guitar Hero World Tour complete setlist may have leaked. Keep in mind, we have no way of knowing this information is correct, but it seems plausible, and even likely, given what we know of tracks that have been rumored for awhile.

Among the surprises: Michael Jackson's "Beat It,"Guns and Roses "Paradise City," Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb," NOFX "Soul Doubt" The Doors, "Light My Fire," and a "guitar battle" with Sting. (Wait, doesn't he play bass?) Overall, it's heavy on the ****l and the classic rock, less eclectic and poppy Rock Band 2.

If this setlist is accurate, then this will be the best Guitar Hero so far. I only really enjoyed 6 or 7 songs from GH3, but this one looks like to have some really good songs... such as...

"Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol

"Man in the Box" by Alice in Chains
"Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana
"Everlong" by Foo Fighters

That is great if true. More songs than any other Guitar Hero. Some of those may be downloadable songs, no in-game songs. All I know is that I have a PS2 so downloadable songs doesn't mean jack to me.

Guitar Hero 2 is still the best Guitar Hero game, if you like heavy rock. GH3 had some great songs, but a crapload of shitty ones as well.

3 Had the best list by far, but I think this one might top that.

Fuck, Modest Mouse didn't make it. Interpol got Roland which is a better song than PDA (which Rock Band 2 has) but they don't got the Mouse.

Now I have a dilemma on which game to go for. Hopefully I won't have any cash when these games are released. If only I could be so lucky.

wtf is up with naming the Van Halen set the "eruption Tour" and not having Eruption on there? Is Eruption an intro for Hot for Teacher?

I'm pumped. It's nice to have RB and GH push each other to make better games. So many good songs. Some of my favorites:

Stinkfist, Schism - Tool
The Good Left Undone - Rise Against
Dammit - Blink 182
Renegades of Funk - RATM
No Sleep Til Brooklyn - Beastie Boys
Spin The Black Circle - Pearl Jam
Nottingham Lace - Buckethead
One-Armed Scissor - ATDI

have they said anything about Rock Band's drum set and its compatibility with Guitar Hero? I know Guitar Hero's drum set has 5 buttons (not including pedal) instead of the 4 that Rock Band has. It would be pretty dumb on their part if they are expecting everyone that has Rock Band to go out and buy their exclusive drum set.

I would have loved to have seen Modest Mouse on here. So many good songs to choose from. Dashboard would have been a fun song that most people would have liked (though I would have preferred Shit Luck). As for Interpol, I would have like Obstacle 1 or Say Hello To The Angels.
