my roomate is buying a PS3 and wants to rent a blu ray movie to test its capabilities.

can you guys toss out some movies which would be best appearance wise on Blu ray.

You can get a 5 dvd set for blu ray for about $20. At least thats what it was on Amazon.

the key is to view the two as separate stories.

If 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' was put into film based solely on the book, it would be unfilmable or possibly end up like a David Lynch film (which wouldn't be a bad thing).


They are both great in their own right.
