^no she wasn't broke, her parents are well-off and she's always lived with them or at the apartment her parents paid for when she went to college out of state. All she's used the money from her job on was typical girl shit. When she called me on Sunday, though, she said that she lives in an apartment with another chick now because her folks kicked her out but wouldn't say why. My guess is that her recent DUI was the straw that broke the camel's back, or that they somehow found out she was a stripper.

I just now read this thread. I don't know why you are so offended. The thread may be a bit pointless, but so are half of the other threads in Mayberry.
I'm interested in hearing your argument on how being a loan officer is as bad as a stripper. I've read your argument saying it's a dead end and that it doesn't pay much, but both are wrong. Most presidents of large banks have been a loan officer at one time or another. You can pretty much move all throughout a banking institution once you have a decent amount of experience in a lending position. The job is definitely in the lower to middle part of the ladder, but BigMe is still fairly young.
Also, your implications based on wage are ridiculous. Since the stripper may make more moneythan BigMe, she is "on par" with him or better? How much do you think a teacher, police officer, or social worker makes?
