What if Europeans never made it to the Americas until now...how do you think everything would've played out.

Consider that many of the great inventions were invented in the americas long after Europeans arrived.

At some point if they didn't they would be conquered by another etnichal groups that's the history of mankind. Gunpowder, iron and steel weapons plus horses made the conquest way easier besides the betrayals between some tribes in the case of México.

funny that u say that...i read recently that the vikings actually made it to northern canada. so exposure to outside people would be just a matter of time.

Well, they still conquered it after slavery subsided. But if they never found America i wonder if Europe's empire building aspirations would have been limited.

i heard the arabs reached the americas long before the europeans did. so they did have a connection with the outside world and obviously the arabs didn't kill them all off.

alotta people reached the americas before Columbus so it would have happend anyway, in time maybe the incas and/or mayans themselves had travelld across, they had some pretty impressive knowledge when it coems to math/astrology and civilized societies.
