Expect the graphics to get worse as they fix the framerate for the game. It will still look amazing, however it won't look as good as a movie that took four months to render on a $25,000 computer.

Games often look far better before they are finished and before the framerate is optimized. When they start to optimize the game, they turn down the lighting engine, and reduce the clarity of the textures. Otherwise the game would be running at 15FPS.

i dont think share your oblique opinion but lets remember they are the developers that maxed out the ps2 and psp. gow 1 and gow 2 still look pretty dam amazing right now even with ps3 and 360 out.

will it look like beowulf? maybe, but i think it will be close.

It's technologically impossible for the game to look like Beowolf. The PS3 is simply not powerful enough. Neither is the 360, or even a $3000 PC.

It took a team of over 200 people, each having a PC that costs more then $10,000 almost an entire month of rendering 24/7 just to get Beowolf from the PC rendering program, into a movie format.

The PS3 and 360 have tech in them that by PC standards, is completely and utterly obsolete right now.

Saying the game will look like Beowolf when it runs at 30FPS on a ps3, is like saying humans can fly.

A $3000 PC can't run Crysis on very high with AA on. Crysis is nothing compared to Beowolf, and a $3000 PC makes the PS3 and 360 look like a piece of dogshit.

I agree with Titan there's no way the current generation of consoles/pc can produce something as graphically detailed as Beowulf. But as I mentioned before they probably meant the art style or the atmosphere is similar to Beowulf.

when GOW3 comes out, I will man up at get myself a ps3. Best games series ever. Besides warcraft (minus wow) and diablo, and soon to be starcraft once it is a series!
