A few days ago I called my friend C for concert tickets he sounded his usual self. He's a stoner and I knew he was a former junkie. All I do is smoke weed pretty much. He tells me to call him back on the status. He's unreliable so I called him a few times he wasn't home.

So I call my other friend X to see if C is with him. Me X and C were good friends last summer and all hung together. Anyway he hasn't hung with X and X tells me part of the reason why. He did sound a bit angry at him.

Turns out C was back on heroin for awhile again a short while ago. Then him and X were cokeheads for a short time. Now X tells me that C isn't all there now. (May have turned suicidal as well) He also tells me he was doing coke and smack when X used to hang with him unbenounced to me. I was shocked and disappointed at this. C's not really a bad kid just stupid.

Also C may go to jail. There was an incident awhile ago where C and another kid, K were breaking into cars. I knew K was but not C. X tells me it was mostly C. C snitched on K and K looks like he's off now and C may be going to jail. X thinks it's good for him to learn. The whole time he was telling me this X seemed stern and kinda angry and didn't have any sympathy for C now. I think that's what got me the most.

All I can say is holy fuck. Still absorbing this. I haven't seen C for a long time and miss him but now I found out how fucked up he is now I don't know what to do. I'll probably try to hang with him and yell at him. Fuck man.... my friend is fucked up bad......

Honestly, I don't know why you are bothered with X having anger towards C. Maybe it is good for C to go to jail and pay a price for his actions. Maybe X realizes this and understands the harshness of real life.

A lot of the times, people who get mad at others for doing bad things are doing so out of frustration and really care for the person.

It sounds like X cares for him but vents it through different mediums than yourself and you are having troubles understanding that.

X cares for him, and so do you - both just do it differently.

As for C, I agree with X. He needs to learn a life lesson. Jail doesn't kill people.


Lastly, as this is getting long, it is easier to blame fucked up people and their habits on the drugs they do. Many times the drugs they do are used as an escape of the things that they normally do.

Out of experience, I know.

This kid that was a former friend of mine wasnt tough either, he only got in because he was buying from one of them, and he agreed to start selling for him. Hes regularly getting the shit beat out of him when he tries to act tough without his biker asshole friends around.

I hung with my friend today the messed up one. This is his side of it.

-He admitted to smoking crack a few times but stopped and said he didn't do the smack.
-He started a meth lab for a few months to trade for coke
-broke into cars for coke cash that got K in trouble with the law

Right now he sais that he only smokes weed and is giving up fast money and other drugs and has stopped for awhile.

That's the other side of the story. Sais he's stopped everything. Is this to be believed? I don't know what to do. Should I hang with him alot to kinda support him? I need some help here.
