Adventure.....The one thing I want to do before I die is travel the world. And I don't mean to every single little place. I mean the significant spots. I am a beach person, so I would love to go to a tropical island with beautiful oceans, trees, and Women. Somewhere exotic.
From my studies, Thailand seems to be the most essential place for someone like me. I used to always have Japan at the top of my list. But I think Thailand would be alot better. Basically my traveling goals before I die are..
-A road trip across America(From California to New York city and back)
-Hawaii
-Then Thailand (Unless one of you recommend a better place!)
So... do you guys know of such paradises? Which paradise would you recommend to me?
And who else also has the ambition to travel, explore, broaden your horizons, and go on Adventures like me? If not, what is a lifetime goal you want to achieve? Something significant.
You guys can post vids or pics of paradises you know of!
i wish i could just travel everyday but it takes money. i have to work all year just to finally have the ability to travel for a few weeks or something while trying not to jeopardize my job standing.
such is reality.
have you seen the movie The Beach with dicaprio ? (or read the book )

I recommend a visit to Costa Rica, easily one of the best places and vacations I've ever done.
And I drove across/around the US a few years back with a few friends, that was a damn cool adventure. Started in Miami, took I-10 all the way to LA, then up to Seattle and Vancouver, and across the top of the US to Boston, then back down I-95 back to Miami. Spent 32 days all in all, really cool experience. But this was also a few years back before gas was this expensive.
But still, something I recommend along with Costa Rica.

Thats awesome. I wanna go across American badly. The gas will be a bitch. Will definetely have to save up loads of cash.

When we went a few years back, on average we were paying $1.75 or so a gallon. Now that the shit is averaging slightly under $4/gallon at the moment, it'd make it more of a bitch. So you'd definitely want to find a few like minded people to help out with the costs, plus it was more fun to do/experience it with a few friends in tow.
We rented a car (Honda Element), and with the rental price, gas, hotels, and recreational costs, we each spent around 7 grand. Granted we did some really cool and expensive shit in those 32 days, not many sober moments you know, and we'd go out of the way on occasion to see a certain sight.
So it was a bit expensive, but the sights and experience was priceless!
