You regular MB posters know that I try to keep you guys informed on all free food stuff, and its been a while since I've seen a free offer, but there's another one coming up: Cold Stone Creamery is hosting the "World's Largest Ice Cream Social" at participating locations.

Show up between 5-8 p.m., and you can enjoy a free helping of a new flavor created by a Make-A-Wish kid. (The flavors include "marshmallow ice cream with Oreo cookies, chocolate chips and fudge" and "Nutter Butter ice cream with white chocolate chips, Kit Kat and yellow cake.")

I was just looking through ice cream at the store last night to find some low calorie stuff, and realized that even the low calorie stuff was 120+ calories for half a cup (which is less than a scoop.) Ben & Jerry's was THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY FUCKING CALORIES for half a cup! My guess is this stuff is probably closer to the B&J ice cream. Bottom line: that's way too much goddamn empty fattening calories for me. It might not cost anything monetarily, but 350 calories takes around 45 minutes of continuous heavy-bag punching at my weight to burn off. Screw that. And who the hell eats only a half a cup of ice cream? I know I'd be eating a good 1,000 calories worth of ice cream if I actually had a few scoops. That's insane...

LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT - you're getting ice cream, a dessert of cream and sugar, and you want "low calorie"? WTF man, you dont eat ice cream to lose weight, you eat it because it's delicious! Weirdo!!

Lol touché. I did wind up walking out with some Breyer's frozen fruit bars though, they taste really good and are only 40 calories for a whole bar.

No need to stand in line with every mexican in town, for $4 ice cream that I can get whenever I feel like it. Very informative post though
