Guys, is it really necessary to shit on xceptionalguysd so much? I mean, all he did was spoil a movie for everyone and be presumptuous as fuck?
In all seriousness, thats pretty interesting. Does anyone have any similar articles?

Scorpions dont look that functional to me, even though Im somewhat fascinated by them all the same. Actually, any idea where they came from (please dont) ? Im curious as to their evolutionary heritage.

We actually dont really know exactly how all the subphylums and classes of arthopods evolved because they were already significantly diversified during the cambrian period, so no actual fossils of any common ancestor have been found. However scorpions did not evolve directly from those giant scorpions because both kinds exist as fossils from that period, sort of like humans didnt evolve from monkeys but share a common ancestor with them.

God's intervention.
The reason why these creatures are being found is because Archeologists are digging up the outer layers of hell.
These are the creatures that inhabit, essentially hell........dinosaurs and man-like apes all are non-celestial demonic beings that roamed the middle of the earth ages ago.
Their respective age and carbon testing is just all ballyhoo and modern Archeologist are just agents of the devil trying to open a portal to the gates of hell to validate their athiestic control over mankind.
It's all really quite simple.

From what I understand, scorpions are believed to have evolved from eurypterids, and have been largely unchanged for over 400 million years. Those giant water scorpions were just a genus of scorpion at that time (whenever that was, 350-400ma?) Who's to say the smaller varieties of scorpions didn't go extinct and that the brontoscorpios weren't the ones to evolve into what into what we have today? I mean, maybe researchers have said that didn't happen, but I haven't seen a lot about arachnid evolution.

Scorpions arent arachnoids.
The current idea is that from the merostomids(horseshoe crab) evolved the eurypterids, which are giant aquatic scorpions, and the arachnids. Then early on the scorpions evolved from the euryptids and together they coexisted for a pretty long time after which the euryptids went exinct.

You might want to look into that.

I wasn't talking about eurypterids. I was talking about the true scorpions that evolved from them that lived in the sea, like the brontoscorpio.
