dont think ive seen pans labrynth, there's movies like owning mahoney, in the company of men and the saddest music in the world indies in english from canada, fellini is out there but he's one of my favorite filmmakers 8 1/2, La strada, La dolce vita, Nights of Cabiria.

I would suggest Kidnapping, Caucasian Style. It's a very famous Russian comedy, the subtitles should be easy to find.
